It is summer and the weather forecast for tonight says snow flurries possible???? What happened??

I had this app and used it everyday for years . They changed it around June 15, 2015 and it is now looking like a lot of the other weather apps........horrible .

Should have left well alone.

The font and size of the writing on this app is horrible! Very difficult to see for someone with poor vision. Please, please, please keep the previous app up and running for those of us with poor vision. I cant even use the app on my iPhone anymore - I cant read the numbers.

On my iPad this new version is faster than the old version and the layout is a bit more friendly. Not perfect but an improvement for me.

Its like they sat down and said "What can we do to make this app worse?" Make the map area smaller. Take away color from icons. Make all fonts same faded color to blend into background. Put in a McDonalds commercial! Lets do all these horrible ideas! Im will be looking for a new weather app and remembering how we once had it good.

What a disappointment. The new app is hard to read. I could tell what the weather would be on a day in a glance with the old app, but cannot anymore. I really hope they retire this version quickly.

I updated the app about a week ago and I had to play with it the first time to get used to the new design, but seriously, its fine. Its slightly different, but that doesnt mean its awful. (However, I do not have any vision issues. So, I cant address that.) You do have to tap to get info that had been all on one page, but that doesnt bother me. A huge plus: you can actually look at the blog (the radar loops) without the app freezing or crashing.

If you make the weather screen any smaller for more adds, might just as well scrap the whole thing. This is a big downgrade from the previous version. Who ever designed this should design one more app then just jump off a cliff. No loss to the app community. You removed the scrolling locations with preview capabilities, WHY?????

I dont like the new daily visual. I liked being able to glance at the in color graphic to know what to expect for the upcoming 10 days. I wish I had read the update before doing it because I never would have! I wish I could go back.

Why did you CHANGE IT? Ugh! Its AWFUL now, the old one was much better!

Much prefer the old version with a square map and additional info on the left.

Since the update I can barely even open this app before it crashes. This used to be my go-to for local weather, I miss it!

Cool because it tells you future radar and shows you sections of like tornado warnings/watches and stuff like that. My personal go-to weather app.

The old WGN Weather app was a must have for every device. However, this new update is horrid!!! I hate it. It still has the most reliable weather forecast do I will continue to have if until I find something better, but I am looking.

App automatically updated on my iPhone. What a disaster. Im keeping the old app on my iPad as long as I can. Someone took a long step backwards, just to get a new photo/icon!

They should call this the "WGN crash app" , it is useless. Search for another weather app , this one is useless.

The old app was far from perfect, but the new one is just a mess. Typical Tom Skilling style in that there is so much info, the main message is difficult to find in the clutter. And why is it the forecasts Tom Skilling offers from his app, WGN and the Tribune rarely agree with each other? Since the forecast in the Trib has to be prepared hours in advance, youd think it would be the least accurate, but its usually the most accurate.

Why oh why did you mess with the app. This new version is so user-UNfriendly! Maybe the new features looked great to you but couldnt they have been incorporated into something that looks good to the user? Sad to say, its no longer my favorite weather app.

I want to go back to my old phone that had the old version of this app. Please continue to offer the old version as an option. Please...
